Role
Plan, coordinate, and monitor all Supply Chain activities for domestic and international shipments, including development and review of shipping documents. Develop production and supply plans for all clinical and commercial products. Monitor and control the timely, efficient and cost-effective management of all TG raw materials, intermediates, samples for testing, clinical and commercial finished goods, including ownership of the Inventory portion of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system requiring accurate and up to date information across the entire global supply chain.
– Coordinate all shipments including review / approval / retention of shipping documentation
– Responsible for the inventory portion of the monthly close
– Manage supply chain transportation partners
– Inventory Management including reporting, cycle counts, physical inventories, aging reports, and key raw materials. Identify and propose options to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
– Coordinate with Clinical Operations on forecasts for clinical site shipments
– Coordinate with Commercial Operations on forecasts for commercial demand
– Develop and communicate supply requirements to manufacturers
– Develop and maintain IRT planning parameters in conjunction with Clinical Operations
– Manage DSCSA compliance from supply chain perspective, including Tracelink master data management and investigating exceptions
– Other responsibilities as needed
– Travel to CMOs / Suppliers 10-20%
Professional Experience/Qualifications
Experience with and knowledge of domestic and international shipping requirements, including import/export customs requirements, FDA requirements, Harmonized Tariff codes, packing lists, Bills of Lading, End Use letters, etc.
Experience working in a GXP regulatory environment
Working knowledge of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) for commercial product labeling
In depth knowledge of production planning in an ERP system environment, including what if scenarios, Net Suite preferred
Proficient operation of spreadsheets, databases, and other Office programs
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a team environment
At least 5-10 years’ experience in supply chain or related; Biotech/Pharma experience preferred
Education
BS in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent
APICS Certification or equivalent is desired
