About the role Roku pioneered streaming to the TV and continues to innovate and lead the industry. While we are well-positioned to help shape the future of television including TV advertising around the world, continued success relies on building a marketing and ad strategy that grows Roku’s advertising business. As a Manager on the Creative Ad Solutions team, you will be responsible for developing smart, brand-specific solutions that meet key business objectives. In addition to ideating best-in-class streaming campaigns, you will also help to evangelize Roku Brand Experience offerings within the creative agency community. This role requires someone who can manage ambiguity, feel comfortable in the unknown, wear many hats within the Roku Brand Studio, and lead with a solutions-oriented mindset, as they navigate this ever-changing, fast-paced environment. Not only will this Manager help partner with the Ad Sales team to drive revenue, but they will also help shape the future of creative excellence in the CTV industry. What you’ll be doing Act as a partner to the Ad Sales team to aid in driving revenue and adoption of Roku’s offerings Develop brand-specific solutions to ensure there is a cohesive narrative and holistic strategy rooted in KPIs and Objectives to solve a client’s business challenge Lead workshops to drive creative excellence and democratize the Roku Brand Studio offerings Develop processes, in partnership with cross functional partners, to ensure a smooth pre-sale and post-sale workflow Identify areas that need improvement or that can be streamlined to work most efficiently across various cross functional teams Partner with Product teams to drive innovation based on client feedback and potential opportunities Partner with measurement and Sales Marketing to define and craft what creative best practices are in streaming Present programs and custom solutions to key stakeholders internally and externally Ideate and develop new tentpole programs or endemic packages that would garner press or industry buzz for Roku, as well as suggest updates to current tentpole programs We’re excited if you have 5+ years of relevant experience as marketer or brand strategist, with expertise in ad tech and media. Professional experience working with Fortune 500 companies across verticals such as CPG, Tech, Telco, and Financial Services Craft new revenue-driving moments-related programs that apply to multiple business verticals A rich understanding of the streaming, TV, digital, social, and programmatic advertising landscape and challenges brands face within each Deep expertise crafting impactful and unique programs, designed to drive advertiser’s objectives as well as a positive consumer experience An understanding of the importance of balancing the end user experience and the advertiser’s objectives Track record of working cross functionally to problem solve and build processes to ensure a smooth activation process Collaborative nature & track record of being an invaluable resource to sales teams. History of building relationships with creative agencies, media agencies, and clients Experience with presenting to senior-level stakeholders, both internal and external No job is too big or too small mentality — you’re a long-term thinker & a short-term doer.
