This is a remote role and must live in New York.
The Sales Director (individual contributor) will be responsible for driving revenue for the COMPANY by opening doors into new customers, new markets, and expanding business with current customers. The Sales Director will be a hunter role reporting directly to the CRO. Will work directly with the CRO to create a strategic sales plan for yearly goals based on their strengths and book of business and previous experience.
The Sales Director’s activities are centered on obtaining new business. Customer interaction is predominantly conducted virtually with some face to face. The number of touches is dictated by the customer and there is a heavy emphasis on interacting with numerous functions within the customer (i.e. purchasing, operations, engineering, and package development). The Sales Director will have both stock and customized solutions to offer, with the full support of project engineering and design capabilities.
The territory is not defined for the Sales Director and they are able to prospect and pursue customers wherever located. Travel may be necessary depending on geographic needs.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
Compensation is a base salary plus commissions, uncapped. OTE $200-250K with top performers earning $270K.
