The Ford Agency is actively recruiting for a Corporate Development Specialist to join a biotech organization based in their NYC office. The Specialist will work with the leadership team in developing their global and long term strategy. This individual will focus on financial analysis, investor relations, and researching opportunities for development, licensing, and acquisition in the competitive market. If you have at least 3 years working in corporate development, strategy consulting, or finance and are looking to join a busy team of creative professionals, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:

• Create corporate development strategy by conducting market and product research
• Monitor competitive and external environments, prepare analysis and share it with senior leadership
• Perform financial analysis and modeling
• Assist with developing business case formulation, valuation analysis, and integration analysis
• Communicate with venture capital firms, private equity funds, investment banks, and other strategic partners
• Collaborate with leadership in updating the strategic plan and developing presentation materials for investor and board meetings

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of professional experience in financial, corporate development, or strategy consulting
• Experience in medical device, biotech, or life sciences preferred
• Professional communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Team player mentality
