The Opportunity:
Reference Point is currently seeking Consultants to support challenging client engagements within a rapidly growing management consulting firm. We are looking for an experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial individual to support teams delivering on projects for financial services clients aligned to our Strategy practice area, with a focus on Consumer Banking, Payments & FinTech.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in improving operational processes and design target operating models
• Access current state operating environments for Consumer Banking, Payments and FinTech clients and identify findings and gaps in current processes that may introduce inefficiencies or operational risk
• Build strategic plans, create implementation roadmaps, calculate and measure return on investment, and develop key performance indicators to assist clients with key strategic initiatives.
• Provide high quality analysis, support, and deliverables to clients.
• Gather requirements and present engagement findings and recommendations to senior client executives and key stakeholders
• Learn from former industry practitioners to build your subject matter expertise and professional network.
• Support Reference Point internal initiatives including the development of corporate products and service lines.
• Build institutional capital through project documentation and knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of banking, lending and payments operations, workflows and end-to-end processes across multiple products and lines of business.
• Knowledge of core banking services (deposits, lending, digital banking) and various supporting platforms, technologies, and best practices.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple client stakeholders on findings and recommendations
• 2-5 years of prior consulting experience with a top-tier consulting firm focused on Financial Services clients
• Emerging expertise within the Consumer Banking, Lending, Payments or FinTech domains.
• Ability to build integrated program plans, prioritize tasks, manage risks / issues, and drive teams to successfully deliver on multiple complex project workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working independently and strong problem solving and issue resolution skills.
• Humility and ability to drive work required to make client programs and complex projects successful.
• Incredible drive and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher with a strong GPA in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, systems engineering, or another strong technical and analytical discipline.
