—Commercial Roofing experience is a requirement to be considered—
Pay: $75-90k + commission
Auto allowance/vehicle, full benefits, cell phone, tablet etc.
We are looking for a top-notch sales person to develop business for Service Department, specifically our preventative maintenance service contract product. Sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments via self-generated leads. Work in a business-to-business setting, covering an assigned territory and build a portfolio of accounts via prospecting and referrals. This position reports to the Operating Unit President.
What You Will Be Doing
Estimate job costs and submit proposals for review
Understand all processes of job from acquisition to fulfillment
Review and approve invoices, material slips, purchase orders, contracts and proposals to ensure accuracy
Responsible for all estimating duties, including but not limited to bids, pricing and change orders
Attend pre-bid meetings and visit job sites
Secure pricing from vendors
Develop relationships with owners, contractors and suppliers
Resolve disputes with clients
Track labor and material costs of jobs
Work closely with Service Department representatives, Operations and job Crew Leaders
Additional duties as assigned
What You Need for this Position
” Demonstrated success in sales, a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve results.
” Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations.
” 2 5 years sales experience in roofing, construction or a related field
” Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone.
” Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.
” Proficiency in Microsoft applications including SharePoint and CRM.
” Roofing experience preferred.
” Professional sales training methodology, such as Sandler.
” Knowledge of business and management principles.
” Well organized, adept at planning work and managing time (supervised and individually).
” Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills
” Ability to climb ladders and walk/inspect roofs.
” Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
