McGuireWoods has a need for an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team. This position can be located in our New York City, Richmond, Los Angeles – Century City, or Baltimore offices. This role will service a wide range of transactions and support an active commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience, strong organization and multitasking skills, and will embrace a team mentality.

Responsibilities Reviewing and negotiating title insurance commitments and coverages and reviewing and summarizing exceptions for potential problemsReviewing and negotiating surveysOrdering and reviewing UCC and tax lien search reportsReviewing Purchase/Sale Contracts Review of Commercial Leases, estoppel certificates and SNDAsPreparing and maintaining closing checklists and timelinesCoordinating and organizing documents for multi-state and multi-asset transactionsPreparing and negotiating escrow closing instructions Qualifications A minimum of three years of experience as a real estate paralegal strongly preferred Ability to think clearly, respond positively, evaluate situations and determine appropriate action and act decisively under pressure Have more questions?
