The Global Program Management (GPM) organization is the Change Management function for CIB Finance and Risk. Within GPM the Controls, CAP and Innovation pillar provides program and project management support to global, strategic Accounting and Control related initiatives that are sponsored by the CIB Controller. Additional stakeholders include: Corporate Accounting Policy, Legal Entity Controllers, Financial Controllers, Product Controllers, CIB Treasury, CIB External Reporting and Corporate Tax. The Controls, CAP and Innovation pillar is looking for an Associate to support the Innovation Agenda for CIB Controllers and key Accounting related initiatives impacting the organization. The initial assignment will be supporting the Local GAAP Operating Model Program and the Innovation agenda governance. Responsibilities: Supporting the Innovation Agenda for CIB Controllers, coordinating communication of training updates and priorities to the CIB Controllers Digital Accelerators. Manage the reporting of Innovation related metrics for CIB Controllers. Supporting key Accounting initiatives, tracking and managing the execution of the project plan, identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies Manage project governance, including coordination of working group meetings. Manage communication of status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management through scorecards and presentations. Develop proactive partnerships with stakeholders across CIB Controllers, OCFO DA Team, Corporate Accounting Policy and others as needed. Coordinate meetings, setting agenda, preparing materials, documenting minutes. Develop operating models for new or enhanced processes through collaboration with stakeholders, this includes: workflows, RACI charts, etc. Qualifications: Experience Bachelor’s degree required 3-5 years work experience in financial services Project management experience preferred, but not required Experience in a Controller role is viewed as beneficial, but not required Communication Excellent verbal communication skills, with ability to lead meetings and present updates to senior management Excellent written communication skills, with ability to produce succinct project updates and clear meeting minutes Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships Soft Skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Must be detail oriented, highly responsible and able to work with tight deadlines Strategic thinking and problem solving; ability to define a problem statement, define alternatives and draw conclusions; sound judgment with a control mindset Intellectual curiosity, ability to quickly learn and present confidently Technical Proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and PitchPro required, with working knowledge of Excel, Sharepoint, Visio, Confluence Awareness of Intelligent Automation tools (Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, etc.) is beneficial, but not required JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
