The Rescue Mission is seeking an experienced retail professional to lead the organization’s social enterprise, including the Thrifty Shopper retail outlets as well as warehouse and logistical operations. The Thrifty Shopper is a secondhand clothing/home goods outlet, with 18 retail locations across Central NY and the Southern Tier. This position holds top-line accountability for enterprise strategic business planning, retail sales growth and overall customer satisfaction. Operationally the chief Social Enterprise Officer is responsible for effective warehouse operations and logistics. Specific areas of responsibility include Attended Donation Centers (ADCs), Trucking, Warehouse and Stores. This position is also responsible for oversight of sustainable business development opportunities, donor- and community-relations connected to retail functions, and facilities management. This position will partner with internal departments for the purpose of marketing and branding, leadership and development initiatives, and organizational advancement that can be initiated to bring in more dollars for Mission.
