Department Statement:
Colgate University is seeking a Project Manager for the Capital Project Management group to oversee renovations and new construction projects on campus. The Project Manager will be responsible for project programming, managing the overall design process, and overseeing construction and inspections related to new construction and existing facility renovations.Key responsibilities include preparing project budgets and approval documentation for the Finance Department, ensuring compliance with Capital Project requirements. The Project Manager will also review construction plans and specifications, collaborating with architects and engineering consultants to recommend changes where appropriate.
Accountabilities:
Accountable for scope of work definition, prioritization and execution for each scope of work. Ensures prioritization is reflective of stakeholder needs. Ensures all services and materials procurement for assigned projects are optimized and compliant with University procurement policy. Responsible for assigned projects’ completion on time, on budget and within University design standards and relevant codes.
