Job Description

The Position:

An exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst with a Banking (Commercial Credit Card) or FinTech (Tech BA) background, that has a natural ability to ask questions, analyse and problem solve.

The Successful Candidate Will Be

• SAAS – Web Based Software experience.
• Confident communication skills, ability to communicate to all levels across the business (internally and externally).
• Experienced working with SAAS products, UI/UX, Web API’s and other technical tools.
• Experienced within the FinTech or Banking / Financial Services provider within Commercial / Corporate Credit Cards.
• Naturally inquisitive, with the ability to think outside of the box.
• Experienced of working on web applications and software integration projects.
• possessing an understanding with web development.
• Experienced of translating business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experienced of working successfully with stakeholders and product owners to deliver quality outcomes.
• Experienced of liaising with internal teams and external vendors for project deliverables

The day to day of this position may look like:

• Assisting other team members liaise with external Bank Customers.
• Working with stakeholders (internal and external) throughout all levels of the business to analyse and document business processes with a focus on systems improvements.
• Performing requirements gathering for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
• Conducting workshops and entertaining project queries.
• Facilitating Inception, Estimation & Planning and Retrospective sessions
• Getting involved with the project requirements gathering phase.
• Develop process maps with as-is process analysis and to-be process designs.
• Assisting Product team on client engagements and Development team with requirements.
• Assisting System Testing resources in test preparation and execution as required.
• Assisting Business resources to User Acceptance Test preparation and system implementation
• Effectively manage the engagement of business stakeholders to ensure the both parties development of business processes and systems.
• Leverage knowledge of existing application architecture to ensure data integrity and advise on best practices
• Review and ensure data and campaign compliance
• Produce business use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria and diagrams as needed to clearly define and communicate systems requirements between business and IT staff.
• Helping out other teams with their duties as skills and time permits.
