The Business Development Manager is a passionate leader that will help Umamicart expand into the next phase of growth. This is a dynamic role that wears many hats and works directly with the founding team – from catalog expansion to customer insights and everything in between, this role will succeed by using a combination of stellar analytical skills, drive and passion for Umamicart’s mission, and effective interpersonal skills.
The BD Manager will have accountability for the business results of our catalog, management of brand and supplier relationships, as well as defining, implementing, and monitoring business KPIs. Your responsibilities will include expanding product selection, setting category strategy, developing marketing programs, developing and growing vendor and brand relationships, driving sales and margin improvements, and providing exciting customer experiences. You will work closely with the founding team to get your hands dirty in any areas that are needed, including operations, marketing, customer support, and more.
