The role will be part of the RWA Integrity team, which is accountable to bring together all of Credit, Market and Operational Risk RWA components in a consolidated manner for regulatory and management reporting. This includes (i) performing the computational methodologies used to determine RWAs, including any assumptions, interpretations and/or models used to make those determinations, (ii) ensuring the accurate implementation of those methodologies and controls within Citi’s infrastructure and processes, (iii) ensuring models are fit for Basel purpose, have been validated and accurately implemented, (iv) articulating Business and Functional requirements including performing end to end diagnostic assessment for remediation of regulatory capital issues.

The position will be part of RWA Remediation Team within the RWA Integrity Team, which is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of the remediation work required to meet Citi’s commitments established in the OCC and FRB Consent Orders relating to Spot RWA, as well the remediation required for business as usual and other Supervisory issues related to RWA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for successful and timely delivery of RWA milestones and deliverables per Citi’s consent order and BAU remediation for Market Risk RWA modeled and non-modeled components
• Document and execute processes and controls, and identify related process or control gaps for calculation aggregation and reporting (from authorized redistributors to reporting systems), including Standardized and Advanced Approaches, to demonstrate compliance with US Basel regulation and related supervisory guidance; and remediate any identified gaps through the ongoing issue management process
• Define, develop, and establish robust control processes that can effectively demonstrate US Basel III regulatory capital requirements are applied in an accurate and appropriate manner.
• Drive the diagnostics and remediation activities of a broad range of regulatory capital calculations that encompass governance, data and non-data controls, processes, system implementation and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications:

• Experience in transformation roles in Financial Institutions with reasonable understanding of Advanced and Standardized US regulatory capital rules for FRTB Market Risk (Basel III and Basel III reforms)
• Ability to define, articulate and re-engineer complex processes and procedures, with appropriate controls, and think both strategically and tactically while driving meticulous execution
• Exceptional oral communication and writing skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and translate into “user-friendly” language for multiple audiences, including senior management, multiple internal constituents, and regulators
• Solid Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to develop advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Access (or other database front-end query applications).
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in related field
