ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other Duties May Be Assigned)
Sell insurance products to prospective clients by establishing relationships within assigned territory, responding to inquiries via phone, e-mail, and mail. Provides input to management to help identify opportunities to improve sales. Prioritize sales leads from various sources including, Monthly Sales Funnel, Daily Activity Report, and Leads generated from websites, database management, etc. Schedule & conduct in-person sales calls and meetings with garage, dealer, and other automotive services locations within geographic region to ensure travel efficiency. Conduct accurate surveys of hazards on site when available. Facilitate the application and underwriting process with the potential client and the internal underwriter. Send application to potential client or complete in person with the client. Finalize application and any applicable forms and prepare information for submission. Follow up with the potential client when additional information is needed to complete the underwriting process. Present quotes or estimates to potential clients, close client sale, and setup client with appropriate financing options. Attempt to gain market intelligence if unable to close sale. Assist the client in the inspection process and alert them if their inspection has deficiencies and assist them in resolving those deficiencies with the insurer. Document sales activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Build and maintain customer relationships by responding to various questions, needs, and requests. Represent the organization’s Insurance at conventions and trade shows, as necessary. Serve as a back up to other sales representatives when they are not available. Keep current with insurance company guidelines and market. Maintains insurance product knowledge and selling techniques.

Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field. Previous sales and/or customer service experience within the insurance industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface effectively at all levels within an organization.
Certifications And Licenses
Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Machines, Equipment Or Software Used
This position requires the regular use of a personal computer and general office machines. The ability to use the following software/systems is required: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, e-storage solutions, Adobe or Nitro PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams (on mobile device and desktop computer), Internet Explorer.
