About this role
Within the Global Institutional Client Business (ICB), institutional marketing sets the marketing strategy, and develops integrated programs and channel strategies that drive prospect and client engagement and position BlackRock as a thought leader and solutions provider. The U.S. and Canada ICB Marketing team is looking for a driven and highly motivated Associate to help deliver our marketing strategy, client journeys and digital amplification initiatives across the U.S. and Canada Institutional Client Business.
Reporting into the U.S. and Canada Institutional Marketing team, this individual will partner with institutional client and product teams to set and deliver relevant and impactful marketing initiatives that engage prospects and clients and help drive pipeline growth across BlackRock’s most significant institutional business priorities. Specifically, this includes creating client journey life-cycle marketing and segmentation, content strategy and syndication, third party media partnerships, and engagement measurement and ROI.
This Associate will work across cross-functional teams, including sales, product, technology & operations, marketing centers of excellence, and legal and compliance, in order to solicit feedback and ideas, build consensus and drive execution. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of one or several of the following marketing tactics: segmentation and designing journeys to engage prospects and clients at various points of the sales life cycle; familiarity with the asset management industry; an understanding of institutional sales process and the various client types represented; execution of scalable, prospect and client-facing activities; understanding of investment products and strategies.
