SUMMARY:
The Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) reports to the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer. The ACNO is the Senior Nursing Leader accountable for one or more service lines within the Patient Care Services Division. Has full responsibility for nursing operations, people management, strategic/clinical goals, and budget responsibility.
STATUS: Full Time
DEPARTMENT: Specialty Medicine and Surgery Service Line
SCHEDULE: Days; Monday-Friday, (MUST be flexible to take late night calls or fill in when areas are short staffed)
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nursing is required
Masters degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is also required
At least five (5) years of progressive management experience with a clinical focus in a healthcare system
Results driven leader with experience in developing, designing and executing clinical programs that create measurable outcomes in quality, service, finance, growth and people
Required Licensure / Certification Skills:
Current New York State Registered Nursing License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through American Heart Association
