Multistate insurance defense firm seeks attorneys with insurance defense litigation experience to join our busy Woodbury, New York office. Candidates must have superior analytical and communication skills. Seeking attorneys with the following experience:
Defense attorney admitted in New York or certified for admission.
Defense attorney with up to 5 years’ insurance defense litigation experience.
Defense attorney with up to 5 years’ experience handling professional liability claims.
Defense attorney with up to 5 years’ experience representing architects and engineers and handling complex construction claims.
Defense attorney with up to 5 years litigation experience or experience defending construction accident/New York Labor Law claims preferred.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing own caseload with oversight by partners
Drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
Research and writing of memorandums
Attending hearings and court conferences
Conducting and defending depositions
Attending inspections
Consulting with expert witnesses
Attending mediations
Trial preparation and trial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
