Under general supervision, prepare credit cards and checkbooks for distribution to members via pouch unit, using various tracking systems.

CREDIT CARD

• Sort credits cards by country/pouch destinations
• Data entry (log credit cards on Plastic Cards Excel log)
• Create labels through system in preparation for delivery to the members
• Deliver daily pouch to the mailroom for processing
• Return all domestic or international cards to Card Services Department for processing

CHECKBOOK

• Sort checkbooks by branches, domestic, international and pouch
• Data entry (log all checkbooks on Checkbook Excel log)
• Create label through system for checkbooks going out via pouch
• Fill out courier forms for international or domestic checkbooks
• Ship checkbooks for international or domestic distribution via express mail
• Send checkbooks to mailroom for postage (regular mail)
• Inter-office in-house checkbooks to different branches for member pick up

PROCESSING RETURNED CREDIT CARDS AND CHECKBOOKS

• Date stamp credit cards and checkbook, and place in file cabinet for 90 days
• Record all returned credit cards and checkbooks on tracking sheet
• Review the status code for lost, stolen, closed, etc.
• Monitor credit card or checkbook status in tracking systems to determine if it should be shredded, held for 90 days and then shredded, resent, or transferred to Card Services Department for processing
• Ensure delivery of outgoing cards/checkbooks to the UN pouch unit are processed in a timely manner
• Count and record all credit cards/checkbooks received for processing
• Monitor the Post Office Box for any returned cards or checkbooks on a weekly basis

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist the Card Services Department with tracking all pouch mail to and from the UN; maintain working relationship with the UN Pouch Unit
• Responsible for obtaining the most current UN Mission and duty station list
• Properly scan, index, and electronically file documentation and member information into the appropriate imaging system as needed by various departments

TYPE & AMOUNT OF EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma and 3-4 years of clerical/office experience
• Credit Card and checkbook processing experience preferred

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Computer proficiency with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Familiarity with correspondence systems like Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, and USPS
• Experience with various office equipment, including copiers and printers
