Position Title: Administrative Office Manager with Medical Office or Healthcare Facility Experience

Responsibilities and Required Duties:
Candidate will work at the front desk.
Serve as a professional role model, leader, mentor and liaison between patients, clinical staff, and physician.
Must demonstrate excellent, organizational skills and the ability to perform well in stressful situations.
Requires knowledge of any type of healthcare system.
Greet patients and provide instructions as they come in.
Perform clerical and administrative tasks.
Collect patient demographic data for proper registration of patient in Eagle Gold/SCI (EMR)
Analyze health insurance benefits and verify insurance eligibility.
Answer telephone calls and provide relevant information.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Process requests for medical records
Collect copayment and reconcile monies at the end of each day.
Coordinates appropriate lunch breaks, vacations, sick calls, etc.
Review and approve all PTO requests.
Follow office policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment.
Direct and supervise daily activities of staff and ensure everyone is appropriately trained, skilled and have necessary resources to work effectively, productively, and efficiently.
Ensure positive patient satisfaction, including troubleshoot when there is a complaint and proactively develop processes to improve and prevent recurrences.
Ensure regulatory compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Professional demeanor, self-motivated, and dependable
Multitasking and Problem-solving skills
At least 2 years of management experience in a medical office setting.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and demonstrate team spirit.
Strong written and verbal skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Computer skills and ability to learn new systems. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Knowledge and experience in EMR a plus.
High School Diploma OR an Associate Degree preferred.
