Performs data entry and related responsibilities to prepare, maintain, distribute, and store records. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges * Notifies company personnel of visitor arrival * Prepares and distributes documents required for shipments * Ensures all outgoing shipping documents comply with DOT and/or IMDG regulation and Corporate policy * Schedules shipping appointment times with outside carriers/trucking companies * Maintains and archives safety and quality product records for the site * Maintains site training matrix and enters employee safety observations into database * Completes data entry into preventative maintenance system * Performs other related duties as requested by the Administration or Plant Managers REQUIREMENTS: * High School level education required, plus a minimum of two years of related experience in an office environment * Must be able to demonstrate computer skills with Microsoft programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook * A successful candidate must have pleasant telephone manners and the ability to welcome change WORKING CONDITIONS: * Work is mostly sedentary; a repetitive motion of wrist, hands, and fingers when operating computer keyboard * Operates typical office equipment, such as personal computers, printers, scanners, copiers, and facsimile devices * Works inside and outside the office atmosphere #IN
