A mid-sized consumer goods retail company in the Amsterdam, NY area has an immediate need for an energetic and motivated Sales Associate. This is a full-time role with a very competitive salary, shared commissions, and benefits structure.

Compensation is in the $65-$80K range, and is a mix of base salary + weekly shared commissions. The shared commissions are within a total team of 5 Sales Associates. The first 30 days also includes a training stipend of $1,150.

The Sales Associate will be working 5 days per week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Days off can be consecutive or a mix of two (M-F). In addition, the company offers 15 days PTO.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and professional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Deliver a welcoming, no-pressure retail shopping environment while working as a team.

Engage with customers by asking questions and proposing solutions.

Process sales orders, schedule deliveries and assist with financing-related questions.

Increase personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and the industry by participating in routine product and sales training and development.

Requirements:

Basic computer and math skills.

Available to work weekends, evenings and retail holidays.
