Job Advertisement: Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

We are looking for passionate Platform Engineers with experience in DevOps tools and emerging technologies to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive transformation within Capital One.
Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of MQ engineers responsible for our critical IBM MQ services.
– Collaborate with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
– Ensure the availability, resilience, and scalability of the solutions you develop.
– Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor other engineers.
– Encourage innovation, diversity, teamwork, and outside-of-the-box thinking.
Basic Qualifications:
– High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
– At least 6 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing IBM WebSphere MQ.
– At least 4 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
– 8+ years of experience with IBM WebSphere MQ.
– 3+ years of experience with AWS.
– 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

Salary Information:
– New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 – $222,800 per year for Sr. Manager, Platform Engineering.
– For other locations, salary ranges will be specific to each location and will be reflected in the offer letter.
